After a few uses, the gasket became slightly easier to manage, so I think it is better for it to start out tight rather than too loose. The two large containers have an impressive capacity and are perfect for cooking in bulk, while the two medium containers are very practical and can also work well as lunch boxes. I like that they are made from stainless steel, which feels like a safer alternative to plastic food storage and gives me more confidence when storing meals. They are also much lighter than glass containers, so they are easier to carry and I do not have to worry about them cracking or breaking. The lids close securely and have been leak-free so far, although the smaller container’s lid does not fit quite as well, so I would not use that one for liquids. Overall, I am very happy with this set and would definitely choose these containers again if I need more food storage in the future

Before buying this cold brew jar, I used to make cold brew with a coffee sock in a large tub, and this system is definitely much easier to clean. I like that everything is self-contained, and the filter works well overall, although the tube only holds about 7 ounces of coffee by weight instead of the full 8 ounces I expected, so I adjusted my batch size. One drawback is that the bottom screen does not drain downward, so after brewing I have to place the cylinder at an angle over a strainer or bowl to drain the last bit of liquid. Even with that inconvenience, cleaning the cylinder is much simpler than turning a canvas pouch inside out and rinsing it thoroughly. My biggest complaint is the silicone gasket at the top because it feels loose, can be hard to keep in place, and sometimes does not seal properly. Overall, the jar works well and makes cleanup easier, but the gasket and drainage design could definitely be improved
